Post-European elections debate organized by 11.11.11 on 19 June

19th June 2019 @ 19th June 2019 - 19th June 2019 UTC+0

In the wake of the European elections, many questions are being raised. We notice important tendencies, common threads and evolutions that might need some clarification.

What does this mean for human rights and democracy in the EU? Will populism get an even bigger breeding ground? What role will European civil society play in the coming years? Are far-right parties dead weight in the European Parliament?

11.11.11 has decided it is time to debate these topics.

– Marta Pardavi, Co-chair at Helsinki Committee Hungary

– Laura Sullivan, Executive Director of We move EU

– Anne Van Lancker, former Member of the European Parliament for the Socialist Group

With Koen Vidal (Foreign editor De Standaard) as moderator.

When: 19 June 2019, 20:00 – 22:00

Where: Venue TOP, KVS, Lakensestraat 146, 1000 Brussels
