SDG Watch Europe Plenary 26th November 2019

26th November 2019 @ 26th November 2019 - 26th November 2019 UTC+0

Agenda SDG Watch Europe Plenary 26 November 2019

With a new, politically diverse European parliament that has steadily started its work and the unveiling of the new Commission the future focus of the EU Institutions is just beginning to take shape. So far, the role of the SDGs in it is still unclear. Whether or not it will be part of a Green Deal or the work on a sustainability strategy will finally start is yet to be decided in the coming months.

SDG Watch Europe has been pushing for the implementation of the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda ever since its adoption. With its work in the Multi Stakeholder Group, on the Multi-Annual Financial Framework, the 6th scenario as well as on the EP elections, SDG Watch Europe has always urged to take the SDGs seriously and put people and planet at the heart of European policies.

The next SDG Watch Europe Plenary will take place on 26 November 2019 from 9:30-13:00, at: Meeting Room EARTH, European Environmental Bureau, 14-16 Rue des Deux Eglises, Brussels.
