The UN SDG Action Awards are back! With NEW categories and a spotlight on global solidarity

TOGETHER WE CAN SUPPORT SDG ACTION WORLDWIDE

People and organizations everywhere are encouraged to submit their outstanding SDG Action and nominate initiatives to become one of the UN SDG Action Award winners.

All winning initiatives will be honored at the UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony at the UN Headquarters in New York City, and widely amplified throughout the year to inspire the growing global SDG Action community to accelerate change for people and the planet.

If you know of an incredibly inspiring initiative that deserves to be recognized, replicated and scaled please share it!

NEW CATEGORIES : SUBMIT YOUR INITIATIVE

For the 2020 edition we are seeking creative and transformative initiatives that: 

  • Mobilize large numbers of individuals and organizations to take action for the Goals; whilst building coalitions across communities and societies;
  • Inspire people to shift behaviors and policies for the achievement of the Goals; whilst promoting the values of hope and solidarity; and
  • Connect partners to increase progress on the Goals, whilst strengthening dialogue and trust between people and institutions at all levels.

SPECIAL FEATURE: THE SOLIDARITY AWARD: NOMINATE ?

The Solidarity Award will honor the heartwarming and impactful acts of humanity that are improving the lives of others and lifting hopes in the ongoing global health crisis. From local heroes, to stories from the other side of the world, nominations can come from everyone, everywhere.
