1. UNDERSTANDING 2030 AGENDA AND THE SDGS

This section contains an succinct overview of what the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs are. It also contains resources to learn about the overarching benefits of SDG implementation.

2. GLOBAL SDG PROCESSES AND REVIEW

This sections contains resources on how we can make sure the SDG targets are met in particular regarding the review processes, the monitoring of the SDGs and on how stakeholders are engaged on these processes.

3. Campaigning and advocating for SDGs

This section contains information about how to communicate about the SDGs and build public awareness. It also contains concrete advice for environmental, social and human rights CSOs to work on the SDGs. Besides, you can find a useful timeline with main opportunities for advocacy and campaigning around the SDGs till 2020. Moreover, we have included other national resources useful for these purposes at EU level.

4. JOINING FORCES: CROSS-SECTORAL CIVIL SOCIETY COALITIONS

This section contains an overview of existing coalitions whose main focus are the SDGs, working at global level, EU and national level.

5. EXEMPLARY CAMPAIGNS AND CASE STUDIES: HOW CSOS ARE CONTRIBUTING TO SDGs?

This section contains an overview of exemplary campaigns whose focus is mainly SDGs: #ACT4SDGS, People’s Budget, Trade Fair Live Fair campaign and MAKE EUROPE SUSTAINABLE FOR ALL. In addition, SOLIDAR members will develop several case studies per year that will be included in the handbook progressively.
