Without reducing inequalities, none of the SDGs can be achieved. Local, national and European actors from 15 countries joined forces for this campaign. We want to empower and promote the social, cultural, economic and political inclusion of everyone – especially women, children and minorities. We want equal opportunities and equality of outcomes, a reversal of cuts in public investment in essential services and social protection schemes, climate justice and tax justice. We’re promoting safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people and ending all forms of discrimination against women and girls.

As our factsheets explain, to #FightInequalities we will need:
Under the #FightInequalities campaign, we developed the game “17 steps to equality” that you can see on the right and download here. It follows the logic of a typical “snakes and ladders” game, each player will throw a die and advance following the arrows on the board. If they fall into a ladder they will climb thanks to a privilege. If they fall into a snake they will reverse and suffer from an inequality. Every time they step into a square, they will have to answer to a question related to an inequality story. Download the stories here (DE, FR, GR, IT, LI). For each SDG there are several stories. If the player answers correctly continue throwing the die, if not it it’s the next player turn. Good luck!
